Welcome to Plenty Tempty Crafts – a space where imagination meets handmade creativity. I am Sumithra, creator of Plenty Tempty Crafts, living in Bangalore,India. My journey into art has been unique and meaningful. I worked in the IT field for more than 5 years, but art had always been my childhood passion. I later quit my job for personal reasons and used my time at home to learn and explore art more deeply. During this period, I began creating handmade jewellery and customized handmade gifts for friends and close circles. The overwhelming appreciation and support I received gradually turned this hobby into a small business. This growth inspired the next step — the creation of the Plenty Tempty Crafts YouTube channel, where I started sharing videos of how I make my handmade creations. My passion soon became my profession. Over time, I mastered various art mediums including oil pastel, acrylic, poster colors, watercolor, portrait drawing, and pencil shading. Through my handmade artworks and craft ideas, my goal is to bring beauty, joy, and inspiration into everyday life. As the YouTube community expanded, many parents and children showed interest in learning art directly. Listening to this support and encouragement, I took the next leap — Prashith Art Academy was launched. Prashith Art Academy is the learning wing that grew from Plenty Tempty Crafts. It offers structured drawing and craft classes for children to build creativity, confidence, and strong artistic foundations in a fun and encouraging environment. Today, both identities continue with one united purpose: > To inspire creativity on screen and nurture talent in the classroom.
